How To Watch India vs Pakistan World Cup 2011 Semi-Final Online

Cricket frenzy has gripped the world. Almost every other person on this planet, whether he/she may or may not be a cricket fan, is awaiting the “mother of all matches” that is the India vs Pakistan Cricket World Cup 2011 Semi-Final at Mohali, India. The reason why this match is going to be quite exciting is the fact that India and Pakistan have always been regarded to as arch enemies, and its particularly going to be tough on India because they will be playing their so called arch rivals on their home soil. Anyway, while we have yet to see what becomes of the match, here are a couple of ways through which you can watch the India vs Pakistan Semi-Final online.
India vs Pakistan Cricket World Cup 2011 Semi-Final

Geo Super will also be providing live stream of India vs Pakistan Semi-Final, just like it has for all previous World Cup 2011 matches. Please note that the live stream will only be available during match timings.

One of the rather epic things about the India vs Pakistan Semi-Final, is the fact that India has never lost to Pakistan in a World Cup, whereas Pakistan has always beaten India at Mohali. So one of the two records are bound to be broken tomorrow at the India vs Pakistan World Cup 2011 Semi-Final. May the best team win

Can’t Find An iPad 2? Make Your Own Plasticine One !

iOS devices are beautiful examples of industrial design and we know they can also resist the most terrible accidents thanks to their great build quality, but none of them is as cute as the plasticine iPad 2 we found on Youtube. Perfectly “compatible” with multitouch and coming with a handful of third-party apps installed, this alleged prototype from Cupertino (not really, but we like the idea) does 3D projections without glasses as well, with real-time manipulation. Of course it also does games, maps, Twitter and web browsing.

This is a really cute video, as featured on MacStories, that is the highly creative work of someone called Svetlana Shokhanova, who is based in the Ukraine, and who has made a plasticine iPad 2 and filmed it in stop-frame animation. You can tell it’s an iPad 2 because it’s got the two camera holes, although sadly no SmartCover! Just take a look, it really is amazing! Watch as the volume switch turns the sound up, and then the plasticine iPad 2’s owner starts using apps, such as Google Maps, which actually has a 3D plasticine earth. There’s even a plasticine version of Cut the Rope, with a cute little plasticine Om Nom, which looks just as much fun, if not more, than the real thing. What looks like a plasticine version of GarageBand is also featured, complete with musical sound effects. Be sure to take a look at the video, it’s only 1:25 seconds out of your day, but it will really make you smile. And as one of the comments underneath says, “This should be an iPad ad. For real.”

Seriously though, the work that went into this stop-animation video must have been huge, and you should check it out below.

iPhone 5 or not, the Apple WWDC is good to go for 6 June

Apple has officially announced the date for its annual Worldwide Developer Congress traditionally held in San Francisco. The event will start on June 6 and the iPhone 5 will probably be the star of the show.
The conference consists of many technical sessions, seminars and talks. But as far as consumers are concerned, the main focus is on the expected announcement of the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4GS (or whatever it’ll be called).
The announcement of the next generation iPhone seems like a sure thing. There are many speculations revolving around the next big iSmartphone – some trustworthy and some plain fiction. What we can safely assume is that the Apple A5 dual-core chip, that’s featured in the iPad 2, will land in the next iPhone. The same goes for the graphics performance.
The screen is where most changes are expected. Whether it will be AMOLED or LCD, would the pixel density remain on the same Retina level or will we see a bigger display with the same resolution?
Well, we guess all we can do is wait and be on the lookout for juicy rumors and pictures.
The message on the event invite is the other attention grabber. The future of Mac OS X and most importantly iOS invites us to think that iOS 5 may still make it before fall.

How to Find the Best Keywords For Your Blog, Website or Article ?

Just about anyone who has done at least a little bit of research into niche blogging or online freelance writing knows of how important it is to find the best keywords. But what a lot of people new to the scene don't know is how exactly to find which keywords are the most profitable. If you want your article or website to make the most of Google Adsense, follow the tips in this article to maximize your earnings

Instructions
1 : Write down a list of topics you are knowledgeable about. Even if you don't think that skill or knowledge you possess about a particular subject will be profitable, write it down anyway: you'd be surprised to find how many niche topics are in fact huge money-makers.

2: Go to Google Adword's Keyword Tool. You can find a link to it in the resources. Enter your keyword into the box and hit "Get keyword ideas".

3: Typically, a long list of keywords will populate. You're going to want to display three columns; everything else you can hide. Using the drop-down menu, make sure that "Estimated Avg. CPC", "Advertiser Competition" and "Global Monthly Search Volume" are all displayed.

4 : Click on "Estimated Avg. CPC". It will organize the list by highest earning CPC. CPC stands for 'cost-per-click'. By sorting the list by CPC, you can gain a general idea of how much each word is typically worth: i.e. how much the ads listed on your article or website will earn you per advertisement clicked. (Granted, Google and eHow both take a percentage of that money, so you won't exactly get the full amount shown.)

5 : Review your keyword's advertiser competition. To do this, simply mouseover the green/teal bar next to your keyword, and a ranking will pop up. The rankings can vary from 'no advertiser competition' all the way to 'very high advertiser competition'. The best keywords are those who are rated as having anything at or above a high advertiser competition. This means that lots of advertisers are competing for this word, meaning that you will typically have a wealth of high-earning, related ads displayed on your article, website or blog

6 : Lastly, take heed of the global monthly search volume. This will give you some idea of how often people are searching for your word. While many people speak of the importance of making money off of 'niche' topics, don't be afraid of a high search volume: if you advertise your article or website and do proper SEO, you can get to the top of the search engines and -- if you have quality information -- beat out the competition, thus gaining the majority of those ad clicks for yourself. At the same time, however, a high-earning niche topic can definitely be the way to go. At this point, you'd want to size up your competition to decide what is the best route to take.

7: Implement your chosen keywords into your article, website or blog, making sure not to 'over-stuff' them. Whenever using keywords, also make sure that your writing still sounds natural, so as not to alienate readers: it's useless to spend all that time researching keywords only to have no one take the time to read what you've written.

Google Internally Testing Google Music

CNET has shared a rumor according to which Google has initiated internal testing (more commonly referred to as dog fooding) of Google Music, a product which the search engine giants talked about in last year’s I/O event.
As far as the existence of Google Music is concerned, all of us got a pleasant surprise from XDA Developers Forums, when a user who ported Honeycomb to his smartphone was able to use the musical service in what could be described as an accident. Music Industry insiders have confirmed CNET that the service was indeed a real one but the final version could bring a few surprises which I am sure will be the pleasant ones.
Google Music which is a streaming based service in essence will be accessible over the web and will work on internet connected phones and Tablets.
Google was initially expected to launch Google Music in late 2010 which clearly didn’t happen. Then Google set a new tentative goal of demonstrating the music service in early March at the South by southwest conference While a delay clearly exists, it isn’t one where technology is the barrier. Instead, it has to do with Google attempting to go after cloudmusic rights and not being content with Google Music proprietary songs.

iOS 5 pushed to the fall: major revamp, cloud-based, WWDC preview?

A report claims that Apple may be releasing iOS 5 this fall instead of its usual summer timeframe of announcing new iOS versions alongside new iphone hardware. While it is being said that Apple may only reveal iOS 5 at Worldwide Developers Conference 2011.
iOS Logo
When Apple released the iPad 2 on March 2nd, many people thought that at least somewhere in the keynote, Apple would mention, even if a little bit, about the upcoming iOS 5. They didn’t. Which obviously means that iOS 5 release is going to be late, like fall 2011.
So it looks like Apple is going to reveal details of iOS 5 at the WWDC and will release iOS 5 later on. However, Apple might give the first glimpse of the upcoming iOS version to developers so that they can make and submit their apps in time for iOS 5 release. Previously, it was rumored that Apple will launch iOS 5 in April, however this report claims other wise.
iOS 5, according to these sources, is going to be all about the cloud. iOS 5 will bring the much rumored cloud based music, videos, and photo service. However, do keep in mind that a fall release of iOS 5 may clash with the rumored release of the third-generation iPad scheduled for later this year as well.
The report doesn’t mention anything about the next generation iPhone. Whether or not Apple will launch it in time, as usual, in June or July or will it be pushed back like iOS 5 as well? The best guess is that iPhone 5 will ship with iOS 4.x and iOS 5 will later be released an afirmware update.
What ever the case may be, stay tuned as we’ll be sure to let you know what’s going to happen.

Samsung S3850 Corby II preview: First look

Feature phones have been busy adding more features to their arsenal in a bid to survive the onslaught of cheap smartphones. The Samsung S3850 Corby II is one such phone. Corby put a bargain price on touchscreen – the Corby II moves up a notch but stays within budget.

Samsung S3850 Corby II official photos

Touchscreen, Wi-Fi, multitasking, app store – those things used to be associated with smartphones, but the Corby II has them all on its list of features.
The latest TouchWiz, fresh from recent stints with both Bada and Android, blurs the line with smartphones. In fact, the major difference between the Corby II and a low-end Bada phone is that you install Java apps on it, instead of Bada apps.
The J2ME platform has been around longer and many useful apps have been developed for it, while Bada OS is relatively new.
Anyway, the Samsung S3850 Corby II can’t run away from its name. The bigger screen and better specs aside, the Corby II is for beginners. So, no high-end features, thank you very much.

Samsung S3850 at a glance:

  • General: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, GPRS/EDGE class 12
  • Form factor: Touchscreen bar phone
  • Dimensions: 109.9 x 66.6 x 11.7 mm, 102g
  • Display: 3.2" capacitive TFT touchscreen, QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels)
  • Platform: Latest TouchWiz UI with multitasking
  • Memory: 26MB user available storage, hot-swappable microSD card slot (up to 16GB)
  • Camera: 2 megapixel fixed focus camera with smile detection, QVGA@15fps video recording
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi b/g/n; Bluetooth 3.0 (A2DP); standard microUSB port; 3.5mm audio jack
  • Misc: FM radio with RDS; accelerometer sensor; Facebook and Twitter integration; DNSe sound enhancement; Find Music recognition service
Some might not be happy with the cutbacks – but the lack of 3G connectivity is offset by the Wi-Fi support, while the low camera resolution is not a showstopper. The social networking support is a key feature – some people just can’t do without Facebook and Twitter.
Samsung must be getting better at building cheap phones – the Corby II feels extraordinarily solid despite its all-plastic body. With DNSe and a good-sized microSD card you can skip the dedicated music player, the Corby II will handle your musical needs.

Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 Review: Right on the mini

Minis are supposed to be the cheaper, stripped down version of the bigger and superior gadgets. There’s a long list of bigger and superior siblings for the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 to choose from but it has its own two feet to stand on.

Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 official photos
So, the Galaxy Mini is the last shake of the bag. It will never get to rub shoulders with the big and scary smartphones. But it’s not all bad you know. Not bad at all actually for what basically is an entry level smartphone with complete connectivity, social networking, internet, Android apps and music. It’s the right kind of device for smartphone newbies. A good option if you just don’t want to spend a truck-load of money on a smartphone.

Key Features

  • Quad-Band GSM and dual-band 3G support
  • 7.2 Mbps HSDPA
  • 3.14” 256K-color QVGA TFT touchscreen
  • ARMv6 600MHz processor, 384MB RAM
  • Android OS v2.2 (Froyo) with TouchWiz v3.0 UI
  • 160MB internal storage, hot-swappable MicroSD slot, 2GB card included
  • 3.15 MP fixed-focus camera with geotagging
  • GPS receiver with A-GPS
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • Document editor
  • Accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • Swype text input
  • MicroUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth 2.1
  • Social network integration
  • Good build, youthful styling

Main disadvantages

  • Low screen resolution limits choice of apps
  • Fixed focus camera
  • No secondary video-call camera
  • No flash, no dedicated camera key
  • Poor video recording QVGA @ 15fps
The Galaxy Mini was not made to impress. It was made to serve and be simple to use. It’s a solid little smartphone that has all the important ingredients. It can do most of the things your Galaxy S can, just without the stuff that pushes the price up.

With this one, Samsung look to encourage their loyal users to consider a smartphone. Versatility and friendliness make Android quite inviting. The Mini has the specs to back that up too.
Budget-conscious users are having a range of competing phones to choose from and the Samsung Galaxy Mini will have to work harder to get noticed. But the right price tag will put it on the radar of the young, novice smartphone users. That gives the Mini something to start with.

Nokia C2-01 review: A little something

Little cash in your pocket and a good phone on your mind. Is the Nokia C2-01 it? A still camera, 3G and a memory card slot sound like we’re on the right track. In contrast to the C2-00, this one omits the dual SIM handling but there are other goodies to make up for that.
Nokia Nokia Nokia Nokia
Nokia C2-01 official photos
It’s a cheap phone alright, nothing too flashy, nothing to shout about. But the Nokia C2-01 deserves some credit for squeezing a number of nice little features into its budget. 3.2MP still imaging does sound refreshing after reviewing a VGA primary camera recently. Data speeds top EDGE and a microSD card slot means there’s more than enough room for your music collection. A 3.5mm audio jack too perhaps is better than expected for the price you pay.

Key features

  • Entry level phone with decent features
  • Quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity
  • Tri-band 3G connectivity
  • 2.0" 256K-color QVGA TFT display
  • 3.2MP fixed-focus camera
  • QVGA@15fps video recording
  • Series 40 UI, 6th edition
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS
  • Bluetooth 2.1 (with EDR)
  • Standard microUSB port (charging)
  • microSD card slot (16GB supported)
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • Dedicated Facebook app

Main disadvantages

  • Poor video recording
  • No smart dialing
  • Miserable display (almost no such thing as a viewing angle for this one)
  • Relatively poor audio reproduction quality
We have some complaints (seriously, it’s 2011 and S40 still lacks smart dialing) but other than that the C2-01 looks pretty decent. Arguably, you can hold the lack of dual SIM support against the Nokia C2-01. This feature though is obviously left to the most basic of handsets in the C-series. The C2-01 is a budget phone but not that much of a penny pincher.
Nokia C2-01 Nokia C2-01 Nokia C2-01 Nokia C2-01
Nokia C2-01 live shots
You know, phones with a flashlight have long been bottom of the Nokia barrel. Recently, it’s dual SIM phones. Well, the C2-01 is neither. Now, how good is this – or how bad? Jump to the next page, as we try to find out.
But there’re other questions to be answered first. What’s in the box? Is the Nokia C2-01 durable? Out tour of the phone’s hardware is about to begin.

HTC Incredible S review: Smart and curvy

The unfortunate naming aside (seriously, didn’t anyone say it out loud before they announced it?), the Incredible S is a pretty great smartphone. You’ve got spotless connectivity, an exciting new screen, those cool rotating buttons and the proven power of Snapdragon under the hood.
HTC Incredible SHTC Incredible S
HTC Incredible S official photos
HTC has earned a name for itself and there’s no wonder that the launch of the Incredible S was greeted with excitement. Their new potential bestseller is too important a device to go unnoticed even if it tries to be merely an evolutionary, rather than revolutionary step forward.
It seems the Incredible S has got the proper set of ingredients to make for a really capable smartphone at a reasonable price (for a high-end device, that is).

Key features

  • Quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G support
  • 14.4 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA
  • 4" 16M-color capacitive LCD touchscreen of WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels)
  • The best screen on an HTC device by some distance
  • Android OS v2.2 Froyo with HTC Sense UI (ver. 2.3 update promised soon after launch)
  • 1 GHz Scorpion CPU, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 chipset
  • 768 MB RAM and 1.5 GB ROM
  • 8 MP autofocus camera with LED flash and geotagging
  • 720p video recording @ 30fps
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n and DLNA
  • GPS with A-GPS
  • microSD slot up to 32GB (8GB card included)
  • Accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • Standard 3.5 mm audio jack
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS
  • microUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v2.1
  • Smart dialing, voice dialing
  • Front facing camera for video calling
  • DivX/XviD video support
  • Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement
  • HTC Locations app
  • HTCSense.com integration
  • HTC Portable Hotspot
  • Ultra-fast boot times (if you don’t remove battery)

Main disadvantages

  • No dedicated camera key and no lens cover
  • Runs Froyo on launch, instead of Gingerbread
  • Poor video recording, 720p footage is pretty jerky
  • Uninspiring audio quality
2010 was the year of the droid in the smartphone calendar and Google will undoubtedly try to serve us more of the same in 2011. To achieve such an explosive growth is a tall task, but certainly not impossible. There are two things that the Open Handset Alliance will need to achieve in order to complete it.
First, they will need to finally grab a sizable share of the lower mid-range market and second they need to maintain their positions in the high-end segment, which has been their stronghold lately.
And while the implosion of Symbian will certainly help the droid army with their march towards lower segments, some serious efforts will be required to keep iOS and the rapidly improving WP7 at bay on the top.
That’s why devices like the HTC Incredible S are so important. Not only do they need to generate as much revenue as possible for their manufacturer, but they also need to perform well to maintain the platform’s reputation.
